زیر گنبد کبود - No.33 - CJSW first Farsi program
Finally, today the first CJSW Farsi show was aired. It was a very good show and I think that it has lots of potential, the fact the Iranian community in Calgary has grown to more than 5000 nowadays and yet there is not a single media that connects these people makes me to believe in this great door that Reza opened with more than six month of work and perseverance. So I strongly encourage everyone to listen this first show again in this link.
About the Cyrus song, there were some minor errors in introducing the song. I feel that I have to note them here. The song is originally written by my dear friend Yalda Barzin, I was responsible for the lyrics. A brilliant young singer who lives in Iran, Kaveh Rafeian sang this beautifully (sample of his music) and Mr.Reza Tajbakhsh was in charge for the musical arrangement. Moreover, nearly by the end of the show, my name was said as a supporter again, Yes, I am a supporter, and so is everybody else,I really appreciate this gesture, and I will continue to support this great cause.
About the future of this show, I had lots of ideas from this afternoon coming to my mind. I will share them with these three great people and I am sure that this will be far better than what it is right now. The most important thing that comes to my mind is the Andishe Group Sessions which can definitely add value to the show and vice versa.
About contacting the show, I am pretty sure that the in charges of this program will be very happy if they can reflect the art of independent artists of Iran, either inside or outside the country. So I encourage every artist who will get my words, to consider this show as possible way to gain new audiences. The show official facebook page is here, and I will be more than happy to pass your words to these people too.

زیر گنبد کبود - No.25 - The world’s first portable compact-disk player
“This was probably the world’s first portable compact-disk player. Introduced in 1967 by Philco-Ford, “Hip-Pocket” records were less than 4 inches in diameter and flexible enough to carry in your pocket without damage. Despite available titles from a number of major artists including the Beatles, the idea was an instant flop.”

زیر گنبد کبود - No.24 - Humans
Mohammadreza Mirzaei is an Iranian photographer who i always adore his works. To me , specially his view of common life of people is very touching. I would say -conservatively- that he tries to see the life as a show in which small people have big gestures that made they whole existence. this photo here is from the 'Humans' collection which is the start of our new line at this blog.
His lovely blog is always included in my time killing strategies. I used to linked him everywhere I had access. The other nice thing about his blog is the quotas about photography that he put in the side bar .Those never let us alone , when I am with my camera ..
The next line in this blog is influenced by his vision , I hope that someday it can be good enough so that it mentor be proud of. we will call it '4rah' which is pronounced as the synonym of "junction" in Persian. '4rah' tries to tell the story of the people who were just passing by.The whole idea started when I learned how to hook my camera to my computer at a coffee shop. Of course it is still immature but I am pretty excited about this and I hope that it gets better as we go. I am thinking of places in which people have more unstructured time. As of always.. cool ideas are very welcome.

زیر گنبد کبود - No.23 - The Eyes of the Poor
Oh! You want to know why I hate you today. It will undoubtedly be less easy for you to understand than it will be for me to explain, for you are, I believe, the most beautiful example of feminine impermeability one could ever encounter.
We had spent together a long day that had seemed short to me. We had indeed promised that we would share all of our thoughts with one another, and that our two souls would henceforth be one -- a dream that isn't the least bit original, after all, if not that, dreamed of by all men, it has been realized by none.
In the evening, a bit tired, we wanted to sit down in front of a new café that formed the corner of a new boulevard, still strewn with debris and already gloriously displaying its unfinished splendors. The café was sparkling. The gaslight itself sent forth all the ardor of a debut and lit with all its force walls blinding in their whiteness, dazzling sheets of mirrors, the gold of the rods and cornices, chubby-cheeked page-boys being dragged by dogs on leashes, laughing ladies with falcons perched on their wrist, nymphs and goddesses carrying on their heads fruits, pies, and poultry, Hebes and Ganymedes presenting in out-stretched arms little amphoras filled with Bavarian cream or bi-colored obelisks of ice cream -- all of history and all of mythology at the service of gluttony.
Right in front of us, on the sidewalk, a worthy man in his forties was standing, with a tired face, a greying beard, and holding with one hand a little boy and carrying on the other arm a little being too weak to walk. He was playing the role of nanny and had taken his children out for a walk in the night air. All in rags. The three faces were extraordinarily serious, and the six eyes contemplated fixedly the new café with an equal admiration, but shaded differently according to their age.
The father's eyes said: "How beautiful it is! How beautiful it is! You'd think all the gold in this poor world was on its walls." -- The eyes of the little boy: "How beautiful it is! How beautiful it is! But it's a house only people who aren't like us can enter." -- As for the eyes of the smaller child, they were too fascinated to express anything other than a stupid and profound joy.
Song-writers say that pleasure makes the soul good and softens the heart. The song was right this evening, as regards me. Not only was I moved by this family of eyes, but I also felt a little ashamed of our glasses and our carafes, which were larger than our thirst. I turned my gaze toward your's, dear love, to read my thoughts there; I plunged into your so beautiful and so bizarrely gentle eyes, into your green eyes, inhabited by Caprice and inspired by the Moon, and then you said to me: "I can't stand those people over there, with their eyes wide open like carriage gates! Can't you tell the head-waiter to send them away?"
So difficult is it to understand one another, my dear angel, and so incommunicable is thought, even between people in love!

زیر گنبد کبود - No.19 - The girl effect
What I found interesting about this ad is that more than its visuals and graphics that were awesome, the music is supporting the message very smoothly .. also it reminds me of the "clock works orange" -just the title- amazing job by the girl effect , I recommend you guys to listen to the music alone once to recognize the elements that the artist were using ..
